Treat your special stones to a Nordic Spa Day this winter - they will totally sparkle with appreciation!! Here in the Northeast there’s snow cover and frigid temperatures right now. We humans might find this hard to take, but the stone people think it's heaven!
If you have a private outside area (where people won't be tempted to handle them) simply bring out your allies, and while thanking them for their constant assistance and support, make a pleasing cluster or arrangement in the snow. Let your intuition (and good taste) guide where they want to be placed in relationship to each other.
Do you only have a deck or a balcony? Lay them out on the railing, bench or patio table. All your stones are tiny? Place them in a sturdy glass or pottery bowl and heap it full of snow. The crystal configurations of ice and snow align beautifully with the stones - it’s as if they sing together!!
Even better (as far as your stone people are concerned) let them all be outside during a snowstorm! Not quite cold enough for snow where you are? Leave them out in the rain, or simply let them experience the chill and the fresh air, let them be a part of the natural world again. A day and a night in this environment will cleanse them beautifully.
No safe place outside - not even a fire escape? Then bring some fresh snow inside and heap it over your stones as they sit in bowls or trays on sunny windowsills. If that's not possible, cascade bottled spring water over them, lay them out on a fresh, clean towel while holding an image of a pristine snow-covered environment and then leave them to enjoy what natural light is available.
I say a day and night outdoors is the minimum, and if you time it with a full moon - WOW!!!! Open your intuition to feel their happy, active buzz and witness their renewed sparkle and energy when you bring them back in. Promise to treat them more often!
